Lead Project Manager
With Hybrid Renovations since 2025
The hardest part of a renovation for most people is not the noise or the dust. It is not knowing. Not knowing who is showing up tomorrow, whether the cabinets actually came in, whether the thing that went wrong on Tuesday is a small problem or the kind that quietly eats a whole month. I spent a long time thinking that my job here was mostly managing crews and materials. Somewhere along the way I figured out that most of it is really about taking that uncertainty back out of your week, and I have run every job since then around that one idea.
So I run a job on paper before anybody runs it on your house. Materials land before the crew that needs them does. Trades get sequenced so that the second one is not standing around waiting on the first one to finish up. And you get told what tomorrow looks like today, every single day, including the days when the honest answer is that we hit something and here is the new plan for it. Things still go sideways occasionally. They just do not go sideways quietly on my jobs, and they do not go sideways twice for the very same reason if I can help it.
Materials arrive before the crew that needs them, and the second trade is not standing around waiting on the first.
Every day you find out what is happening the next one, including the days when the news is that we hit something.
Problems happen on every job. What I will not do is let the same one happen again three weeks later.
