What we do

Residential Remodeling
Across LA & Orange County

From roofing and ADUs to kitchen remodels, room additions, and HVAC, Hybrid Renovations is the licensed general contractor handling every residential project under one roof.

WHY HYBRID

Built by Tradespeople. Run on Trust.

Since 2022, we've completed 500+ residential projects across Los Angeles and Orange County, from roofing and remodels to room additions and ADUs. We're founder-run and licensed, bonded, and insured, but what keeps homeowners referring us is simpler: we show up, we communicate, and we finish the job right.

Most of what goes wrong on a renovation isn't the work, it's the communication. So every homeowner we take on gets one point of contact, from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Straight answers about how we work, what projects cost, and what to expect when you hire a licensed contractor. No pressure, no runaround.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured in California?

Yes. Hybrid Renovations is a licensed California general contractor, CSLB license #1085596, classified as a Class B General Building contractor. We carry the state-required contractor's bond and are fully insured, with both general liability and workers' compensation coverage. You can verify our license anytime at cslb.ca.gov using our license number.

Which cities do you serve across Los Angeles and Orange County?

We serve homeowners across all of Los Angeles County and Orange County, from Long Beach, Downey, and Whittier to Pasadena and Santa Clarita, and throughout Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, and Newport Beach. We also take on projects in surrounding communities just outside the two counties, including Chino Hills, Chino, Corona, Eastvale, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Thousand Oaks, and Simi Valley. If you're nearby and don't see your city listed, reach out and we'll let you know.

Do you offer a free, no-obligation estimate?

Yes. Estimates are free and come with no obligation. After you reach out, we schedule a visit to your home, often as soon as the next day, to look at the project and talk through your goals. You'll get a clear written estimate at no cost, and it stays valid for a full year, so there's no pressure to decide right away.

How much can a contractor ask for upfront in California?

California law limits the deposit on a home improvement project to $1,000 or 10% of the total contract price, whichever is less. On a $30,000 remodel, for example, the most a contractor can collect upfront is $1,000. From there, payments are tied to the work as it's completed. We follow this rule on every project, and it's worth being cautious with any contractor who asks for more.

Do you offer financing or payment plans for home renovations?

Yes. Financing is available with approved credit, so you can spread your project cost over time instead of paying all at once. We'll walk you through the available options during your free estimate.

Will you pull the permits for my project?

Yes. When your project requires permits, we pull them as part of the job, and the permit costs are built into your written estimate. Work such as additions, ADUs, structural changes, and electrical, plumbing, or HVAC updates usually needs a permit, and handling it correctly keeps your project code-compliant and protects you at inspection and at resale.

Will I have one dedicated project manager as my point of contact?

Yes. Every project is assigned a dedicated project manager who is your single point of contact from start to finish. They coordinate the permits, materials, and crew, keep the work on schedule, and answer your questions along the way, so you always know who to call.

How do you protect and clean my home during construction?

We treat your home like people live there, because you do. Before work starts, we set up dust barriers to contain the work area, cover and protect your floors, and move or cover nearby furniture and belongings. During the project, the crew cleans up at the end of each day, keeps walkways clear, and hauls debris off site instead of leaving it piled up. We work to keep disruption to your daily routine to a minimum, and when the job is done, we leave the space clean and ready to use.

What happens if the project goes over budget or the scope changes?

The full scope and price are spelled out in your written estimate before any work begins, so the number you approve is the number you plan around. Any change to the project is your decision. If you choose to add or adjust something along the way, we document it in a written change order with the cost and your approval before we proceed. Nothing is ever added to your bill without your sign-off, so you stay in control of your budget from start to finish.
