This policy explains what personal information Hybrid Renovations collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to our website at hybridrenovations.com, our advertising, and the phone, text, and email communications you have with us.
Hybrid Renovations is a residential general contractor serving Los Angeles County and Orange County, California. We are licensed by the California State License Board, CSLB #1085596.
Information you give us directly. When you request a free estimate, fill in a form, call us, text us, email us, or refer someone to us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property address, the type of work you are interested in, and any details you choose to share about your home or project.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent, the site or ad that referred you, and general location inferred from your IP address.
Information from advertising platforms. When you contact us through an online ad, the advertising platform passes us information about that contact. For calls placed through Google Local Services Ads, this includes your phone number, the service category you searched for, your general location, and a recording of the call.
Project information. If you become a customer, we collect information needed to perform the work, including photographs of your property, measurements, permit records, and payment or financing details.
Calls to and from Hybrid Renovations may be recorded. Calls placed to the phone number shown in our Google Local Services Ads are recorded by Google, and Google plays an announcement telling you so before the call connects. We may also record calls on our own business lines. Where we do, you will hear an announcement at the start of the call.
We use recordings and written transcripts of them to confirm what was discussed, to train and coach our staff, and to improve how we handle customer enquiries. Recordings and transcripts are treated as confidential and are accessible only to authorized Hybrid Renovations personnel and to the service providers that host or process them for us.
If you prefer not to be recorded, please contact us by email or through the contact form on our website instead of by telephone.
If you give us your mobile number, we may contact you by text about your estimate, your appointment, or your project. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop these messages at any time by replying STOP. Opting out of texts does not affect our ability to contact you by phone or email about work in progress.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do use advertising and analytics tools that, under California law, may count as "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See "Advertising and your choices" below, where we explain this and how to opt out.
Service providers. Companies that provide services on our behalf, including our customer relationship management system, our telephone and call recording provider, our website host, our email provider, and our payment processor. These providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
Subcontractors and suppliers. Where a project requires it, we share the information needed to perform the work, such as your address and the scope of work.
Financing partners. If you ask us about financing, we pass your application information to our lending partners. Any credit decision is made by the lender, not by us, and the lender's own privacy policy governs what they do with your information.
Advertising and analytics platforms. We use platforms including Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to run and measure our advertising. These platforms may receive information about your interaction with our ads and our website. See "Advertising and your choices" below.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, by a court order, or by a licensing authority, or where necessary to protect our rights, our staff, or the safety of others.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, to remember your preferences, to understand how the site is used, and to measure our advertising. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Some of these are advertising cookies and tracking pixels placed by Google and Meta. They let us see which ads led to an enquiry and let those platforms show you our ads on other sites and apps after you visit ours.
We honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser where we are required to do so.
We advertise on Google Search, Google Maps, Google Local Services, and on Meta platforms including Facebook and Instagram. To run and measure that advertising we use the following.
Tracking tags and pixels. Our website contains code provided by Google and Meta. When you visit, this code may send those platforms your IP address, information about the pages you viewed, and an identifier stored in a cookie. This is what allows us to see that an ad produced an enquiry, and what allows those platforms to show you our ads again after you leave our site. This is commonly called remarketing or retargeting.
Conversion measurement. When you submit a form or become a customer, we may send Google or Meta an encrypted, one-way hashed version of your email address or phone number so they can confirm that one of their ads led to that enquiry. We do not send them the plain text of your contact details.
Customer lists. We may upload encrypted, hashed contact information from our customer records to Google or Meta so we can show ads to existing customers, exclude them from campaigns for work they have already had done, or reach people with similar characteristics. You can ask us to remove you from these lists at any time using the contact details below.
How to opt out.
Opting out does not stop you seeing our ads. It stops them being tailored to you based on your activity on our site.
Depending on your circumstances and on whether we meet the thresholds set out in California law, you may have the right to:
To make a request, email support@hybridrenovations.com or call (562) 903-3955. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by confirming details we already hold. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of their authority.
Some information cannot be deleted where we are required to keep it, for example contract and permit records, warranty documentation, and records we must retain under our contractor license or for tax purposes.
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and then for as long as required by law. Contract, permit, warranty, and payment records are kept for the periods required by California law and by our insurers. Call recordings and transcripts are kept only as long as needed for quality and training purposes and are then deleted.
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our services are directed to homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our website and our profiles on other platforms may link to sites we do not control, including review sites, manufacturer sites, and financing partners. This policy does not apply to those sites and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect.
We answer the phone Monday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
