MEET THE OWNER
I've been on jobsites since I was 17, first carrying shingles up ladders, then as a roofer, a framer, and eventually a project lead running crews across LA and Orange County. Fifteen years in the trades taught me what a lot of contractors learn too late: the work is rarely what goes wrong on a renovation. It's the communication.
I learned that standing in somebody's kitchen with no good answer. The crew hadn't shown up in four days, the homeowner wanted to know why, and nobody had told me either. The materials were fine. The scope was fine. What had broken was that four people each assumed somebody else was making the call.
So in 2022, I co-founded Hybrid Renovations around one rule: every homeowner gets a single point of contact and a dedicated project manager from the first estimate to the final walkthrough. Not a call center, not whoever picks up. One person who knows your house and what was promised, and the promise we make on day one is the promise we keep on day thirty.
That rule is also how I hire. I'd rather bring on someone who tells you the roof can wait another season than someone who closes every appointment they walk into. I still walk jobs when I can, because you can't run this from a desk and expect the standard to hold.
When I'm not running operations, I'm home with my wife and three daughters. They're the reason I care how this company treats people, because a home isn't just a structure. It's where a family's life happens, and we never lose sight of that.
