FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Details, Before You Send a Name

Straight answers about payment, timing, and what counts, with no fine print games and nothing buried at the bottom of the page.

Do I have to be a past customer?

Yes. This program is our way of thanking homeowners we have already worked with. If we have completed a project at your home, you qualify. 

Do I need to tell them first?

You do not have to, but we would appreciate it. A quick heads up means we are not calling somebody out of the blue, and it tends to go better for everyone. Your friend is expecting us instead of wondering how a contractor got their number, and they walk into the conversation already trusting your recommendation. If you would rather we just reach out, that is fine too. We will be respectful about it either way. 

How many people can I refer?

As many as you want. There is no cap and no expiration on the program. 

How much is it, and when do I get paid?

$500 cash per referral, paid after their project is finished. Not when they book an estimate, and not when they sign. How long that takes depends on the job. A roof or a repaint can be done in a matter of weeks. An ADU or a full remodel takes months. We will keep you posted, and we will tell you when the payment is on the way. 

Does it matter how big their project is?

No. A repair counts the same as a full remodel. If we completed the work, you get $500. 

What if they get an estimate and decide not to move forward?

Then there is no reward, but there is nothing lost either. Your friend got a free in-home estimate and an honest opinion about their house, which is worth having on its own. Send us the next one. 

Where do you work, and what kind of property?

Los Angeles County and Orange County, residential only. We occasionally take larger projects in Chino, Chino Hills, Ontario, and Corona. A rental home is fine as long as the owner is the one hiring us. We do not take commercial work. If you are not sure whether somebody qualifies, send them anyway and we will tell you. 

What if somebody else already referred them?
The first referral we have on file gets the reward. And if they are already an active lead in our system before your referral comes in, we will not be able to pay on that one. It is worth sending a name sooner rather than later. 

Is there any paperwork?
One referral, nothing to sign. If you refer enough completed projects in a year that the payments add up, we may need a W-9 from you for tax reporting. We will let you know if that comes up.
