I was already running interior jobs before Hybrid existed, and it is still the part of this business I care most about. A cabinet run that is off by an eighth of an inch will bother you every single morning for the next twenty years. Nobody ever photographs the reveal around a panel or the way a grout line meets a corner, and those are exactly the details I will hold up a whole schedule over, because they are the ones you end up living with every day. I married Robert, one of the people who started the company, and we are raising three daughters together, so a loud house full of half-finished projects is familiar territory around here.
I would rather tell you something in week one than in week six. If the layout you have in mind will not work, I will explain why and then show you what will. If a smaller scope gets you most of what you wanted, I will say so, even with a bigger one sitting on the table. I answer my phone, I walk the job while it is being built, and I never need permission from anyone to fix a problem the moment I find one. That is how I run a project, whatever its size.
